Zoning, Variance, and Tax Appeals

At Christenson & Fiederlein, PC we have assisted clients in handling numerous legal issues with their local township and city regarding their property. These issues involve property tax appeals and zoning/variance requests.

With respect to variance or zoning applications there are specific Ordinances and legal guidelines that need to be followed to properly present your request to the township board. Any denial of a request must be appealed to the local township/city board of appeals and a record may need to be created with a court reporter for an appeal to the circuit court.

We are knowledgeable in the legal requirements and issues that the local board of appeals is required to analyze and the circuit court standards for review for any denial of a township appeal. It is important to have representation in dealing with legal issues relating to real property.
